My name is S. Judith Morris.  I like to be called Judy.  I relocated to this beautiful Adirondack park 13 years ago from East Hampton, Long Island, my childhood stomping grounds.

     I began my Real Estate career in Park City, Utah.  After returning to East Hampton, I obtained my NYS Real Estate License & began working for the "Sheila Devlin Agency", then the "Cook Agency".  In 1984 I was the on-site broker for a unique separate home condominium project called the "Georgica Estates".  My role as broker was to help buyers lay out their dream floor plans in detail right down to the most convenient spot for electrical outlets to telephone jack placement. Upon completion of the "Georgica Estates" project, I worked for the "Condie Lamb Agency".  Shortly after, I was recruited to work for "Bravermen Brokers" which was bought out by "Southerby's International Real Estate".

     I also had the privilege of investing in a couple of homes, having them renovated, then renting them as summer vacation rentals.  In the meantime, I purchased a cabin on the Hudson River in Newcomb, NY and quenched my thirst for relaxation and the fresh air of the "Adirondack Mountains".  Eventually I sold both vacation homes and became a year-round resident of Newcomb. 

     Here in Newcomb, the experience of being the former President of the "Newcomb Chamber of Commerce" has given me a great insight into how the business community is striving to succeed in the Park.  My membership in the "Adirondack Mountain Club" expands my knowledge of the Park in another way.  I support the efforts of the Nature Conservancy & Open Space Institute in the Park.  I am part of the group instrumental in saving the Mt. Adams Fire Tower.

     I purchased land in the "Goodnow Flow" and I am happy to be a voting member and part of the decision making of this beautiful private lake and wild lands Association.  Recently, the Nature Conservancy has purchased land adjacent to the Goodnow Flow and a good deal of it is becoming State land.  In my humble opinion, this will increase the value of the property around Goodnow Flow & also bring the public eye to Newcomb.

     With my experience in the many phases of the Real Estate business, I am able to connect you to this beautiful sacred place.  Whether this be a little camp in the woods, a lakefront cabin, retirement home or a large parcel where you can be in touch with Mother Nature.  It's wonderful to be a part of someone's dream or adventure, I love my work.
